The place was small but not crowded, surprisingly, as it was a Thursday around noon. The attached store is small, seems like it could be a good place to find some authentic ingredients if you're making some Mexican/Spanish food at home.
We ordered fish and steak tacos. They were delicious! Very authentic! The other side of restaurant had a meat market that I will be buying from next time I'm in town! Great service too!
Great service with attentive staff. I always order something new, and it has always been delicious. The restaurant and store are very clean and organized with a vast variety of high quality products. Great prices and deals. I can always count on La chiquita!
Got a steak taco, which came in two corn tortillas (two gives extra support) with onions and cilantro. Very good, the steak was perfect. Also got a small cheese dip with jalapeños. Nice and thick, good consistency. Otherwise normal cheese dip.
I recently moved from Chicago and was craving some great authentic Mexican food. Then I found La Chiquita. My cravings were answered. The owner Cesar did an amazing job of making me feel welcomed. Normally when I go to restaurants I find one thing I like and stick with it. Everything I tried during my dinner was fantastic and it made me want to come back and try it all! This is the first of many visits to La Chiquita!
My 2 year old is the most pickiest eater, and yet she loves the food at La Chiquita! It is definitely my go-to restaurant. The food is so delicious and fresh, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. What I find most charming about the restaurant is its family friendly environment and it happens to be connected with a grocery store. Their products are fresh and of high quality as well. Kill two birds with one stone and dine at La Chiquita's while purchasing your groceries, all at a great price. I highly recommend it to friends and family!
