Wanted to see the Ghost Train. Called all day and left messages to obtain tickets, like the website suggest, never got a call back or person. Drove an hour and a half to place. Arrived at seven to the ride being sold out for today and tomorrow. Staff told us they had unplugged the phone the entire day, but hadn't changed the answering machine to state they were sold out. Wanted to buy tickets for the next weekend and was told they had already closed the register. Very disappointed. Horrid Customer Service.

The train ride is fun for the kids but difficult to understand the audio portion and I feel the engineer would have done a better job. The panning for gold an gems was lackluster at best. Having been to other panning locations I must admit this one felt sterile. The dead bugs floating in the water made for an adventure but that's about as enthusiastic as I can be about that. The grounds are well maintained and I can see why they have hiking trails that are free to use. All in all, my experience was the same for the other adults in our group as well. Still beats sitting in front of the TV!

Great hike. Lots of history to see. They have maps and signs that tell you where you are and what each area was used fir. The museum is neat. The train is fun, but not long enough for the price.

First the people working and volunteering there were great! I guess it's important to read more reviews about the stuff you see in GA Tourist Magazines before you go. While it is a cool Villa Rica City park with lots to do. I was not drawn to the museum. I think the pricing should include a site pass for $11 or $12 which let's you do everything. Instead you are paying $5 for each thing you do. I would not have a problem paying for each if I only wanted to do two but a site price would have been ideal.

Great place to take the kids. Low cost with a few things to do: pan for rocks (yes rocks), ride a train (except when it's raining), walk the trail (see the fault line), see the museum, and more.

Best little secret park in villa Rica that not a lot of people know about. Has great short walking trails with lots of signs explaining what everything is. The shop has many cool trinkets for sale and I've heard the museum tour is pretty cool. The bathrooms are the best bathrooms I've ever been in at a park. 10/10 would recommend to anyone
